The beautiful pastry from the Russian cake shop “Tortik Annushka” have been everywhere lately and no wonder! They are truly something else!

The people behind this incredible successful shop are the Russian siblings Madina and Tortik Yavoskaya. 

The family run company opened its door in 2009 and is characterized by a meticulous technique that cares for details and beauty thanks to the professional training of its owners. The siblings are trained in architecture and fine arts giving their creations that artistic flair.

These cakes are every designer´s dream!

The confection of a simple cake might take in some cases up to a week so there is a lot of work put into every creation they make. They siblings  explain that they get the inspiration needed for their work by working together as a team and from their design background. That's why some of their cakes might resemble exposed concrete or a tile composition. 

Feeling like baking some cakes?! If you do (and you happen to be in Russia 😃) you are in luck!! The bakery also offers decoration and baking courses.. and the best part is that is open to anybody! From beginners to advance bakers, their teaching method considers the home base student and tries not to use fancy and expensive equipment.
